Google Pixel 4 vs. iPhone 11: What Should You Buy?

It doesn’t stop there; it has gesture controls, and Faces Unlock thanks to a motion-sensing radar chip. iPhone 11 also possesses Face ID, language commands, color options, a rear camera, and runs on iOS 13.3.1, which is the updated version as compared to iOS 13 that it ran on when it was released in 2019.

Display

The two are also different when it comes to their displays. The Apple iPhone 11 has a Liquid Retina IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. The screen size of 6.1 inches and a resolution of 828 by 1792 pixels. Google Pixel 4, on the other hand, has a P-OLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. Battery

The iPhone 11 has a Non-Removable Li-Ion 3110mAh battery that charges fast. It has a 2.0 version for its USB power delivery and a Qi wireless charging. For multimedia use, the battery lasts about 17 hours and for music play, about 65 hours. The Google Pixel 4 offers, in contrast, a Non-Removable Li-Po 2800 mAH that also fast charges. Just like the iPhone, it also offers a Qi wireless charging and a USB power delivery 2.0. The implication of this is that the Apple iPhone 11 has more battery life than the pixel 4.

Prices

As expected, the price for both devices is different. The price for google pixel 4 is above $500. The Google GA01187-US Pixel 4 sells for $549 on amazon.com. The Simple Mobile Prepaid- Apple iPhone 11 sells for $699 on amazon.com. So, Apple iPhone 11 is pricier than Google Pixel 4.

Platform

The iPhone uses iOS 13 that is upgradable to 13.3 with an Apple A13 Bionic chipset. It has a Hexa-core (2 by 2.65 GHz lightening plus 4 x 1.8 GHz Thunder. That aside, It also has an Apple GPU (4 core graphics). On the other hand, Google Pixel 4 uses an Android 10.0 version with a Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855 chipset. The CPU is Octa-core, and its GPU is Adreno 640. On performance levels, the iPhone 11 offers better performance when compared to the pixel 4.

Memory

There is no card slot for Pixel 4, but it has an internal memory of 64 GB 6 GB RAM, 128gb 6gb Ram. The iPhone 11 also offers no slot for a memory card but has an internal memory of 64 GB 4 GB RAM, 128gb 4gb RAM, 256gb 4gb RAM. This feature puts the Pixel 4 behind the iPhone 11, as the Apple product offers better storage options than the Pixel 4.

Camera

Main Camera:

The iPhone 11 offers a 12MP, f/1, 8, 26mm (wide), 1/2.55”, 1.4um, dual pixel PDAF, OIS with a QUAD-LED dual-tone flash, HDR (photo/panorama) features a dual camera. The video quality is 2160p@24/30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps, HDR, stereo sound rec.

Google Pixel 4 offers a 12.2MP, f/1.7, 27mm (wide), 1/2.55” dual pixel PDAF, OIS. Also, 16 MP, f/2.4, 50mm (telephoto), 1/3.6”, 1.0um, PDAF, OIS, 2x optical zoom with Dual-LED flash, Auto-HDR and panorama features. The video quality is 2160@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 1080p@30fps (gyro-EIS).

The Pixel 4 offers an 8MP, f/2.0, 22mm (wide), 1.22um, no AF TOF 3d, (depth/biometrics sensor) dual camera with an Auto- HDR feature. It offers 1080p@30fps video quality. Apple iPhone 11 has a dual selfie camera that is 12 MP, f/2.2, 23, (wide) SL 3D (depth/biometrics sensor) with HDR features. It has a 2160p@24/30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, gyro-EIS video quality.

COMMS

The iPhone 11 offers a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, dual-band, hotspot with a 5.0, A2DP, LE Bluetooth, and GPS, that is, it supports A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS. Pixel 4, on the other hand, supports a Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot with 5.0, A2DP, LE, aptX HD Bluetooth. It also supports GPS, that is, the A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and GALILEO.

Features

The Pixel 4 has sensors that range from face id to accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. It offers the SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM messaging options, and an HTML5 browser. The iPhone 11 has an HTML5 (safari) browserPixele the pixel 5; it has sensors that range from face id to the accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. Conclusion

The Google Pixel 4 and the Apple iPhone offers few similarities while contrasting in many of their features. Though both are excellent devices, the choice will have to be streamlined down to what you want to use it for. A lover of a phone with a quality camera and video resolution will want to go for the Pixel 4 because it offers better camera qualities. In contrast, a gamer and movie person might go for the iPhone because it offers more battery life and larger screen size though lower resolution than the Pixel 4.

If you are looking for a lighter phone that is also dust/water resistant, you might want to check out the pixel 4. The iPhone makes up for its weight by offering more SIMs option. If you are not specific on the qualities of the device, either of them is good though Pixel 4 would be more attractive because of the affordable price range. You might just have to check out the specifications of both of them before ordering your phone.
