Drum roll for the arrival of our latest model in the series – iPhone 12. For a while now, it’s been all over the news.
While my buddies (the phone and accessory bloggers) poured out their excitement by writing about the guesstimated specs of the iPhone 12, perhaps they did not take note of a peculiar feature of the iPhone 12 that is sure to stand out amongst other iPhone models.
No finger-pointing here and such an act is totally forgivable because it could happen to anyone considering the ‘dopamine gush’ you get from hearing about the launch of a new gadget.
Well, your tech-savvy is here to fill in for the lapses by bringing to your notice the unique feature in the much-anticipated iPhone 12 model.
Much attention wasn’t drawn to the charging section while the features were being described. Many believed apple would return the previous charging case.
However, Apple pulled the right stunt with the surprising change they made to this feature and I must confess, “I’m wowed”.

According to an inside man, Apple is planning an official magnetic wireless charging case for the iPhone 12 model and it is safe to make guesswork that the iPhone 12 may come with much smaller batteries than those of its immediate predecessor, the iPhone 11.
A perfect description of this protective case is seen to be made of black silica gel (which is no different from the previous models over the years) while the interior layer is made up of fiber to help safeguard the body of the phone.

However, my ‘bone of contention’ is its inner layer which is basically one of the reasons for writing this article.
When the inner layer of this protective case is taken apart, then you will be able to see the underlying magnet – the batteries. In a further examination of this magnet, the circular part consists of 36 magnets accurately put in order, lying next to each other and secured by an adhesive in the iPhone 12 framework.
Look at it this way – as you have in a hand lens, the circular part, and the stroke beneath. The stroke in this analogy is joined to the circular part and it is made up of 2 magnets. Nothing different from the iPhone 12 magnetic receiver module except for the absence of a wireless charging receiver coil that sits in the back of the phone.
From our basic knowledge of science, we know that a magnet has different polarities that is, consists of the north and south pole. Thus, the reason for the ‘hand lens analogy’ arrangement – only in such ways can the magnets attract each other, by that, increasing the magnetic effect.
Now you ask, why several magnets are being used; well, for no other reason than precise alignment. The more the magnet, the less the magnetic reduction of the device that will be evaded and the more effect of alignment is being secured.
The ring aspect of the interior has an NFC electronic label module that is made up of a golden tensile circuit board and a coil which is the magnetic coil.
So, this magnetic coil will provide wireless charging via a “snap-in” system. As a result of this, the iPhone 12 will aid wireless charging and NFC functions.

On the flip side, our inside man thinks that the samples made maybe an Apple development unit that apple is willing to supply to other accessory manufacturers similar to that done in the apple watch charger.
In that case, expect to see several wireless chargers of different shapes and sizes available for purchase in various gadget stores.
