The storage size begins at 128GB as suppose to the 64GB we have in the iPhone 12 model. Following this is a higher storage size of 256GB and then there is 512GB which happens to be the largest.
Although, as the weeks go by, it is certain that there will be a reduction in the price of each model so, if you are big on storage space (that is, you love the model with higher storage sizes) but you are not so boxed up to purchase one at the moment, you can take a chill pill till the prices drop.
64GB or 128GB or More?
Now you ask, “Which should I buy?” 64GB or 128GB or more? I would say, it all boils down to your usage and if by now you do not know how to check your storage usage (it’s no big deal, not many know how to either), then let me show you how in the 3 simple steps below;
- Go to the setting apps of your iPhone 12
- Click on general
- Then tap iPhone storage
Having done the above, you will be able to view your storage usage, see those apps that are taking spaces and clear junk files if you wish to do so.
Why do You Need a 64GB?
If you are the type who just loves to associate with Apple as a brand so, you purchase their products based on that only then, storage space may not be an issue of concern for you.
Also, if you prefer to stream all your videos, songs or movies online without having to download them on your phone, then you can contend with the 64GB storage size.
However, if you choose to download to your phone, you may want to consider transferring some of your photos, videos and files to iCloud for storage.

Perhaps you ask, “is 128GB enough for iPhone 12?” the real truth is; it depends on you. If you are the selfie/picture lover (who doesn’t love to take some really nice jpegs, by the way?) this might mean you would be satisfied with the midrange storage size of 128GB.
Furthermore, if you like to take breaks by distracting yourself with games when tensed with work on busy days, you can make do with the 128GB – that is, solely games.
On the flip side, if you love to have your videos and songs downloaded on your device for offline purposes as well as keeping those nice jpegs, then you would be needing a storage size somewhat higher than the former. You should embrace the 256GB with your arms wide open.
iPhone 12 Pro: 128GB or 256GB?
If you are like me who loves to keep heavy data applications on my device as well as download offline songs, videos and games too plus, my lovely jpegs then the 256GB is your best bet.
Also, if you take a special interest in photography or you are looking to advance your career in shooting videos, then the 256GB is definitely for you.
On the whole, if you are looking to enjoy a whopping amount of storage size, you should consider purchasing any of the iPhone 12 Pro models.
However, if you choose to manage that with a minimal storage size at the same time cutting costs, then you can buy any of the iPhone 12 models.
Although the former is quite pricey, purchasing the latter will at some point make you consider using iCloud storage which of course comes at a token, monthly.
Whichever iPhone model you decide to settle for, you should know that it is not enough to make such a purchase without putting into consideration, measures to protect your device.
After all, there is no beauty in holding a phone with a broken or shattered screen thus, you should also purchase any of the ESR screen protectors to preserve the integrity of your screen.
Also, you can prevent scratches, dings, tiny marks and falls from affecting your device by purchasing any of the ESR cases.
