Which iPhone 11 is best and which color should I get?

If you think the iPhone 11 series is fading off, then that means you may be missing out on something really big.

For the records, the iPhone 12 series being released some weeks ago has no negative purchase effect on the latter series (iPhone 11).

It is still as sleek as before and nothing is vying to take its shine, not even the iPhone 12 series. For the right adjective – unbeatable!

Just so you know, more and more folks are sending in their orders and as such, they need for me to write you an article.

Well-crafted for your perusal is this carefully written article on the features and color of the iPhone 11 series and at the end gives you suggestions to guide you through your buying choices.

Let’s get started!

As a tech-savvy, one thing I always look out for before purchasing a gadget is the gadget features. I keep tabs on all features of the gadgets and then juxtapose them with the other ones before settling to get the best.

A quick background story: sometime last year, the 10th day in September 2019, the iPhone 11 series was introduced.

With a reduced starting price of $599, the features of the iPhone 11 are as follows: an A13 bionic chip, a 6.1- inch display and a dual-lens camera just to mention but a few.

I really do not want you to get things messed up in your head so, for clarity’s sake I would like to divide this article into 2 sections.

In the subsequent paragraphs below, I would be letting you in on the features of the iPhone 11 series and then proceed to talk about the color in a later section.

Let’s have a little bit of juxtaposition here;

iPhone 11 display

Which iPhone 11 is best?

DISPLAY

With a 6.1- inch LCD display, the iPhone 11 display is also referred to as a liquid retina HD display – the LCD is quite lesser in range compared to that of iPhone 11 Pro & pro max. while that of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro max, comes with super retina XDR.

Having a resolution of 1792 * 828 at 326ppi as well as a contrast ratio of 1400:1 and for its maximum brightness, 625 nits, the iPhone 11 has tone support for its ambient lighting.

For the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro max, it has a 2436 * 1125-pixel resolution at 458ppi as well as 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and a true tone display coupled with 800-nit max brightness and 1200 nits max brightness for its HDR. They have an all-screen OLED.

TOUCH SENSITIVITY

For its touch sensitivity, the iPhone 11 in general does not allow for the 3D touch but uses a haptic touch (all the iOS 13 devices back its use). Albeit the 3D touch pressure sensitivity is absent.

PROCESSOR

All the iPhone 11 series runs on an A13 bionic chip and a neural engine which is swifter (great for gaming) and more effective than previous chips used in the iPhone predecessor model and in terms of performance, it gives about an average percentage of graphic validation.

DESIGN

In terms of design, a precision machined series aluminum frame is seen on the iPhone 11 giving it a full glass closure. Simply put, the iPhone 11 is made of aluminum and glass while the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro max are both made of stainless steel and glass.

For the iPhone 11, it features an end to end display having a slim bezel (although thicker than the one in the iPhone 11 Pro & ProMax as a result of its LCD display) with the most obvious absence of the home button. Also, at its top, it houses a notch for the true depth camera system.

Size

While the iPhone 11 Pro has a size of about 5.8-inch, the iPhone 11 Pro max flex its 6.5-inch size. On the flip side, the size of the iPhone 11 lies somewhere in between the iPhone 11 Pro and pro max (5.94-inch). so, if you are never bothered about sizes, you just might want to settle for any of the series using their other features.

iPhone 11 Pro camera

CAMERA

As a result of the newly introduced dual-camera at the rear, all iPhone 11 has an ultra-wide of f/2.4 and double optical zooming. the iPhone 11 has dual 12MP ultra-wide and wide cameras while the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro max has triple 12MP ultra-wide, wide and telephoto cameras.

STORAGE SPACE

The iPhone 11, has a storage capacity of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB respectively and houses 4GB RAM while the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro max both has a capacity of 64GB, 256GB and 512GB.

WATERPROOF

The iPhone 11 in general has an IP rating of 68 (IP68) but the difference is seen it the maximum depth of water. That is, the iPhone 11 can stay in the depth of water of 2 meters for about 30minutes while both the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 ProMax can stay in a max depth of 4 meters for 30 minutes.

PRICE

the prices vary according to its storage capacity. For the iPhone 11, the 64GB goes for $699, while the 128GB sells for $749 and the 256GB goes for $849.

For the iPhone 11 Pro, the 64GB goes for $999, while the 256GB is priced at $1149 and the 512GB sells at $1349.

For the iPhone 11 Pro max, the 64GB goes for $1099, while the 256GB sells at $1249 and the 512GB goes for $1449. Pricey? Yeah but it’s definitely worth it.

Although the iPhone 11 series are made from the sturdiest glass you can imagine for a phone device, it is not a guarantee that your device wouldn’t get scratched or shattered if it falls from height hence the need for you to purchase extra protection for your screen.

To help you with this, here is my recommendation on tempered glass screen protectors from ESR that you can purchase using the link below to check them out: scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protectors.

iPhone 11 color

The second section is the colors of the iPhone 11, as you will see below

Which color should you get?

The iPhone 11 comes in 6 different colors: purple, black, red, yellow, white and green. On the flip side, the colors for the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro max are pretty much the same: midnight green, gold, silver and space gray.

If you are a fan of cool and traditional colors, you may decide to purchase the black color iPhone 11 or gold for the iPhone 11 Pro/pro max but if you choose to stay neutral, then white is your go-to guy for iPhone 11 and silver in the case of iPhone 11 Pro/pro max.

However, if you are one who loves to go wild with colors, then you can settle for the purple, red, green color variant for the iPhone 11 while space gray is your best pick for the iPhone 11 Pro/ pro max.

Again, some buddies just want to stand out of the crowd by being unique, if this is you, then the flashy yellow is a nice one to try for the iPhone 11 while the midnight green for the iPhone 11 Pro/pro max.

You want to preserve the aesthetics of your device for it to look new always, then you should consider purchasing these recommended protective cases from ESR.

There you have it. Now, it’s up to you to make that purchase decision.
