There were no alternatives on the market then, and it wasn’t expensive so to prevent me from buying later (better) alternatives.
Turns out this case is perfect : lightweight, durable, protective, nice to touch, flexible in usage and a nice colour on top of that ! So no alternative necessary.
I bought one as a gift for a friend who was impressed by it.
Only to find out, on arrival, that I made a mistake (so many choices on the website that I clicked on the wrong picture 🙁 ).
Kicked in the super customer service that turned my buying experience gone wrong, into a happy buy after all !!

I then noticed that water had gotten between the screen protector and iphone screen and touch would not work in that area. I tried to open the case up to remove water and it required much force, prying and bending. And the screen cracked. The case needs to be easy to open in order to deal with this. If there is a trick to open it then that needs to be made known by ESR. The case itself though is very nicely made and secure.

It feel it’s well made and does a great job supporting an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Unfortunately, it’s critical other iPhone users be aware of the issue this stand can cause. I have owned several iPhones which have been dropped many times in their cases. I never had the glass break on any of them, until I added this stand on this phone. The stand unfortunately compromises the protection of the phones case. This phone was dropped flat on its back from about 2’ as it had been before. With this stand attached it caused the back glass to shatter. The stand absorbed all the impact focusing it directly where it was mounted rather than spreading it evenly across the case. I advise anyone with an iPhone to use caution when adding this stand to an iPhone case.

I’ve tried a bunch of cases for my previous iPads, but I was on the lookout for something that would really stand out. That’s when I stumbled upon this case. It’s got this unique design that lets you use your iPad in a variety of positions. I’ve been super impressed with it so far. The outer case feels like it’s made from a top-notch material, and the inner case is a solid silicone-like cover that protects your iPad. The only downside is that if you drop the case without the wrap-around cover on, the screen is likely to crack if it hits the ground face down. The bumpers around the iPad aren’t raised enough to give this case solid drop protection if you have it outside of the wrap-around cover.
