As someone who uses ESR products I can safely say that once again, ESR does things right. The magnet strength on this MagSafe car mount is very impressive. They also are one of the few brands (the 1st that I’ve seen) that have USB type C on both ends of the cable for the car. Cord length is as much as I need. I have a ton of USB-C cords so I can always find the right length but the one that it comes with works just fine. It’s simple to install and the charging speeds are exactly as it says and it’s always a pleasure knowing I’m using an ESR product. The adjustability of the mount is very nice, it can get into about any position you may need. The stability of the holder is also great because it doesn’t shake at all, and I hate when things have movement to them. It’s annoying as can be! Also it’s a metal design so I expect nothing less. ESR makes great products and this is just another example of it. ESR for the win again! It’s a common occurrence and if you haven’t experienced ESR products, please do yourself a favor and try them out. You won’t be disappointed & you can thank me later! 😉

I’ve tried to find a mount/charger that will actually stick to the dash of the car. This was my third attempt and this comes with 3M adhesive that actually sticks! It attaches to iPhones with magsafe cases and holds the phones well enough that even the biggest bumps don’t knock it off the mount. I’ve tested an iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 with zero issues. If you haven’t been able to find a quality iPhone mount that will stick to your dash, give this one a try, it worked for me. The charger works great too, just plug it into the USB-C port in the car, connect the other end to the holder/charger and you’re done! It’s high quality and is made almost entirely of metal. It has a couple universal metal joints that give you a lot of adjustability so you can position your phone however you want. Put some thought into where you want to stick it, though. Highly recommended.

This is the 3rd magnetic wireless charger that I purchased and the first charger I didn’t have to take off and put it on a different spot. These do stick to the surface okay but once you take it off, you definitely need a new adhesive to get it installed. Otherwise, it would most likely come off with the phone and crash lands on the ground.

The mount is too weak. Weight of the phone causes the mount to rotate when you hit the smallest of bumps or take a corner. Great idea. Poor engineering.

The 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger works well and is a nice addition to the decor of my Jeep Gladiator. The base uses an adhesive to permanently hold the iPhone charger in place, but once you place it, that is where it will reside, so I made two modifications.First, I took a PVC pipe and cut it to a length that fits snugly in my cup holder. Then I machined a PVC lid to match the diameter of the pipe and glued that onto the pipe. Then I took the 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger and glued it to the lid with its self adhesive, but to make sure that the adhesive never fails in the heat or becomes brittle in the cold, I secured the base to the PVC lid with 4 self-threading screws.Now the entire unit can be placed in the drink holder for convenient use (see photos). If I want to use that particular drink holder, I can simply remove the entire unit and set it aside.The 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger has many degrees of freedom, allowing you to position your iPhone during use/charging for maximum readability.

I have been an ESR fan for a long time. I can always depend on them. They are consistent and innovative in almost everything – chargers, screen protectors, iPad cases – even iPhone cases.But when it comes to chargers specifically, I am always impressed. I had an older version of this one in my car and loved it, so when I saw an upgraded version that would charge at a faster rate, I was all in. And I was initially skeptical because I have seen a lot of underdelivering products when it comes to mobile charging.The best was I could keep my same mount – it uses the same ball size as this charger, and since it has been sturdy and working well, I have not wanted to switch. Why fix what ain’t broke! And the magnets were strong before. This time, even stronger. If you have a case with a good magnet set in it, the phone might be tough to get off when stopped. I have not had this even move going over some rough back roads – and when you have potholes the size we do here – stuff is bound to fall or come loose. Not with this!Plugging it in is a snap—again, the same Type-C connector. The charging is blazing for an inductive mobile Qi charger! I put it through a few tests. I wanted to see how fast this charger was going to get me to 20% when my phone was down at 5% and what the heat would be like from that type of charging would be. We all know heat kills these batteries, so the cooler we can keep it, the longer the battery life.From 5 to 10%, it started off slow. I wondered if I was watching it and hoping or if I had a bad unit. But then the numbers started rising—fast. I looked away, and 5% more was added. I looked back, and I was at 35%! WHAT!! So I pulled the phone off. It was warm—not hot, but warm like I would expect from it being plugged in and charging. And it was in a car with the sun hitting it.So, is this a win? Absolutely! I am very impressed with ESR and the product they produce; again, this is another must-have!

ESR is one of my most trusted brands, and this mount lives up to the reputation. All of the movement joints are firm yet smooth, holding well where you set it. The 360 rotation is great, the style is nice, and the magnets grab my phone well.

This ESR charger really retains the powerful magnet that I’ve come to love about my ESR products, and it’s bulit well to handle modern phones with the universal qi2 standard. That means I can still get fast charging out of my iPhone 15 Pro max and have a strong surface to hold onto my phone. I think it’s a value and I use it as the version I like to keep in the car since it’s not an over the top premium one that I worry would get stolen (I normally don’t like to leave electronics in my car for this reason); rather it’s a magnet that happens to charge. There’s nothing super special about this except that it just works well and I can mount it and adjust the angle with ease. It’s definitely great quality. Hope this helps!

It is nice, but after following the instructions for attaching the charger, it fell off within 2 days. It’s nice that it is able to move, but it doesn’t move as well as I would hope. It was nice to not have it over a vent, but I would not recommend.
