I really like that it has a setting for placing on your lap or on the ground, especially if you are working out and place it on the floor to look down. The ability to raise the portrait position is a great idea and function.

Highs: versatile and seems durable. The multiple viewing and writing angles makes it very versatile. It feels rigid, and solid. Changing angles means separating the magnetic flaps from the case, simple and doable.Note: Rotating from landscape view to portrait means prying apart the magnetic sleeve from the magnetic cover, and repositioning it in the other view. This takes a bit more work.Lows: only one thing; at 1.62 lbs it’s heavier than the 1.36 lbs iPad Air 13” itself. When combined, it becomes a hair shy of 3 lbs!Since portability is important to me, due to the weight issue, I may return it.
