I was looking for a solid efficient 3 in 1 charger for my Apple equipment. With the use of Qi2 charging I feel confident of my battery not being overcharged. Look forward to using this device for a long time.

I have used the older Cryoboost "tree" charger for about two years. With that one, you must supply your own Apple Watch cable, and while the fan to keep MagSafe cool is neat, I found the blue light annoyed me at night.This charger is officially MagSafe, meaning you get the cool sound an animation when plopping it on. The magnets are strong, as ESR always is. The Apple Watch charger is also really cool. It’s detachable, meaning it could be a useful thing to take off and travel with. And it’s Apple certified, so it charges faster than other aftermarket AW chargers.The build quality is also improved over the older one.All told, it’s great.

This is a good, solid charging option, but the price and lack of flexibility gives this a pass for me next time I need something like this.For the good: The construction is very sturdy. The watch charger is like a separate product in a separate box and everything, but fits snugly in the dedicated spot. If you don’t have an Apple Watch, you could give this as a nice little gift. There’s a magnetic piece that goes in the spot when you don’t have the watch charger plugged into the back of the stand. It’s very thoughtfully designed because with the extra charger or no, it’s a beautiful piece. The MagSafe pad is sooo nice, it’s like artwork the satisfying, rubbery plop of the phone hitting the pad. It’s a strong magnetic pull, but it feels soft at the same time. No worry of scratching your phone on the stand at all. It’s secure. There’s a dedicated spot for AirPods, but I tried to Qi charge another phone while mine was on the MagSafe part and it worked too even though it’s just floating above the divot for the AirPods. I didn’t try it for long, so not sure about performance. The black and silver metal is nice and cool, with a matte, slightly textured feel.Now the bad: Not enough for me to return it or anything, but there are a few features that bug me just a little bit – things like the mount not being posable or it not having an on/off switch so that I can use it as a simple stand at my desk instead of having it constantly charging, or that my AirPods Pro keeps bonging every time a little bit of time has passed and it needs one second of charging to get to 100% again and it’s a cool feature if the new AirPods Pro MagSafe case that it sounds when you start charging… I just have to leave them off the charger so that it doesn’t annoy me to death. I don’t know what technology other companies have, but not having to move the case on and off the charger so much would be ideal. I like to have a dedicated space for things and this is not it for the AirPods Pro with MagSafe.

The overall construction of the charging seems great, And the functionally of being able to remove the Apple Watch charger is also useful at times. Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple instances where the Apple Watch charger did not sit into the stand correctly causing the watch to not charge. Not sure if my charger has a flaw or if it’s a common issue. Would not purchase again.

Good magnets and charging 3 in 1. But for some reason my apple watch doesn’t charge every day, it is weird that i have to remove the apple watch charger magnetic cover on the back to make it work. I don’t know if my unit is defective. Other then that it is almost great for the price
