The charger works great and the magnet holds my iphone just fine. But the nut that tightens and holds the ball joint in place for the mount is poorly made or poorly designed. I have had several car mounts over the years that use a similar mechanism but never had the tightening screw crack. I have only had this device for a short while and the nut is cracked in 2 places. It did not hold position great before it cracked and now its next to worthless. I am going to try and 3d print a replacement part, but I would just order a replacement if that was an option.

The charging indicator light is a helpful touch, confirming that the device is charging.Ease of Installation (4/5):Installation was relatively straight forward but there are 2 mounting options, I suggest figuring out which is best for your car. Once installed, the mount remained firmly in place, with no wobbling or shifting during use. The vent clip is secure, but it may not fit all car vent designs perfectly.Compatibility (4.5/5):As a MagSafe accessory, it works flawlessly with my iPhone 14 Pro. The mount also supports Qi-enabled devices, making it versatile for different phones in my household.Price and Value (4/5):While the Qi2 Car Mount is on the pricier side, its performance and high-quality build justify the cost. It’s a reliable accessory for anyone looking to keep their phone charged and accessible while driving.Overall (4.5/5):This car mount delivers on its promises with a blend of style, functionality, and efficiency. This is my third attempt at finding a reliable and sturdy car mount and charger for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I guess the saying rings true: third times the charm!The magnet on this mount provides great stability for your phone and it won’t fall off when you make sharp turns or break suddenly.I drive a Prius, so I can’t speak as well to the charging performance of the mount, as the car is on the hybrid battery half the time and doesn’t put out a high voltage. I have a 20 minute one way drive to work and my phones charges up 10-12% in that time.The mount is very sleek and extremely easy to install. It took less than three minutes to get it set up.I’m a huge ESR fan and this is another one of their products that I would strongly recommend.

The mount works well on my 2016 Mazda 3. There is no movement of the mount once installed. The magnetic force is very strong on my spigen MagSafe compatible case. Very happy with the purchase.
