It’s very slim and light, about the same thickness of the iPhone itself. It did start to charge my phone soon as I attached it to the back of my phone with an Apple MagSafe case and the charge went pretty quickly. This will make a great travel battery as it’s light and thin so it will be perfect my a purse or bag without adding too much bulk or weight. There are only lights on the bottom of the battery to indicate the charge level, but shouldn’t really be a big issue. Very happy with this pack.

I like the other battery pack, just not the weight and size (and I need a few packs for the family).

I really like the slim design of this pack! It reminds me of Apple’s battery pack, just a little larger. My kids don’t care about the weight of the other packs, but I do.

This battery pack fits in my shorts tech pocket due to its slim profile (the thicker pack is just too thick to fit in the tech pocket).

I like that it has status lights to let you know how much charge is left in the pack.

The magnet on this battery pack is, by far, the strongest I’ve come across. Not that it takes "effort" to remove the pack, but i do tug a little more than other MagSafe accessories.

My only criticism….like others have mentioned….it does heat up!

ESR states on their website:
“ To prevent overheating when charging, please avoid:
● Using a phone case thicker than 2 mm.”

I don’t know if my phone case is a contributing factor, but the heat did get my attention.

This one works well, It’s small, you just slap it and align it on the back of your iPhone or android and it’s good to go.Does get a bit hot, but that’s the iPhone 14 Pro Max, I only have one wireless unit that doesn’t get hot and it takes 3-4 hours to charge versus this unit that brings my phone up to say 80 percent in a few hours. Nice and portable, plenty of use for this one.

So i added this nice piece to my collection, thin and light weight will save your day for sure. Its Qi2 so charges at a good rate, and comes with USB C Cable as well. Magnets stick well as always with products from ESR. Well worth the money 😉

It also is very easy to use and works well, turning on as soon as it comes into contact with an iPhone. and comes with very clear instructions on how to use the product and what the lights mean. The capacity of 5000mah is enough for normal usage and allows an iPhone to be charged enough to get you through the day.It doesn’t get too hot when charging; it just gets moderately warm, which is good compared to most other MagSafe power banks that I have tried. The design looks very good, with a nice clean design. It feels very high quality and well designed. It also is fairly light and doesn’t add too much extra weight to your phone. However, there are some things I don’t like about it.Firstly, the size. It is a fairly chunky product. Granted it is slimmer than a lot of other MagSafe power banks, but I was personally looking for a very slim one, and this wasn’t quite slim enough. The size of this product can be seen in the photos (with iPhone 13 Pro for reference)Secondly, the button. The power button on the side of the product is slightly loose. This doesn’t sound like a big deal, but when you receive a notification, you notice it. It just makes the product feel a little cheap, even though every other aspect of it is amazing.Overall, I would still recommend this product, although the button is something I would like to see improved upon in the future as it is a little annoying.

Its small and compact fits perfect on my iPhone 15. Charges super-fast and is overall handy to have.

I say this is unfortunate because I think that this brings the rating down, but I have to be honest here. And the verdict is…it’s just ok without a kickstand, especially At a budget price of $30 USD at time of posting.

First: for a Qi2 charger (this means it will fast charge an iPhone 15 Pro Max at up to 15W using the MagSafe ring on your iPhone), this is providing a quality charger that is almost half the price I’ve paid for others.

Second: as for its design, it’s pretty bare bones. It’s far too slippery to reliably hold it (it’s got that smooth plastic feeling that looks nice, but can slide out of your hands fairly easily). It’s also not really as thin as it could be, though it is reasonably thin for a 5000mah battery. I think folks need to understand that ANY battery pack is going to feel bulky on their phone, but this does a good job at getting quite thin, but nothing that will shock you.

Third: the magnet is as strong as any other reliable magnet. Now, because of the slippery surface, fhe “strength” may vary if you’re putting on another slippery surface (some MagSafe cases are too slippery, but many have textured coatings that prevent this from being an issue). It would have been nice to have some textured or rubberized like coating to increase the overall grip, but I really don’t have any issue with the magnet strength.

Some minor observations: the button on the side right is far too easy to click if you’re using your phone with the battery, because you have to hold it there. But, as I mentioned above, it’s a bit of a slippery surface so I’d be careful with using this while it’s attached.

This is why, overall, it seems incomplete without a kickstand. You can’t let it rest on a desk to make it usable and you can’t grip it by the kickstand because…there is no kickstand.

Otherwise, this would be a solid value for some premium tech (qi2). I note that the 5000mAh isn’t likely enough juice for folks who want to be able to fully charge the latest iPhones, but when they add more juice it doubles in size which I don’t mind, but almost everyone else does so, it’s a trade off I’m willing to make for the 5000mAh batteries.

I do think this could be top-tier for value and quality…if it had a kickstand (and also with the addition of some textured coating). So it’s still a great battery. Hope this helps!
