All and all amazing works well connects effortlessly with a thinner case to go with it (the case dose have a small edge at the the bottom/side) but it doesn’t stands the best on small desk also doesn’t have the best range to lay in bed and watch something but I’ve put mine through hell and no more then a hung sound when it bends so it’s been great for me

Keyboard feels good. Sturdy. It has a case that goes around iPad so that’s something to know around switching it in and out. It does come out and in easily of that case but I won’t work well without it.

I love this case. I took a real long time looking at lots of different cases for the iPad series 10 (2022) and reading reviews and watching videos. I picked the ESR Ascend case because of these items:* Price was the sweet spot and it was on sale when I got it (about $61 after tax)* Can use in landscape or portrait with the keyboard* Light case sticks with the iPad when you leave the case behind* Apple pencil (USC C) still sits on top magnetically and is covered and protected when case is closedPros:* Keyboard is very responsive and trackpad is very good – Just keep in mind, when opening and using after it has been closed, you may have to hit a key twice to wake it* Battery life on keyboard is excellent* USB C port on iPad is very open when the light case is on – easy to attach accessories like power cord or USC C flash driveCons:* Light case is pretty light – I doubt it would protect much from a hard fallSee my video for a demo

I like the keyboard, but you have to be careful not to scuff it whatsoever. Great keyboard for the money, stays charged, but wish there was some way to know what level of charge it was on. Magnet strength is awesome, support case is awesome and sturdy. But, it is definitely heavy!

I’m writing the review with the keyboard, and I’m really enjoying it so far. I did NOT like the price of the Magic keyboard, because when you spend $350 on an ipad, you would hope that its accessories would be more affordable. This is actually a lot better in a lot of ways. It provides protection with the detachable outer shell, while still providing space for an Apple Pencil. It definitely is weighty, but still not too heavy to carry. The strap that secures the keyboard to close also gives space for the pencil, which I ADORE. It connects via bluetooth, and if you’re having issues, make sure to mess around with accessibility settings, as it will help you control your scroll speed and other things. It came fully charged, and is stable enough that my screen can rest comfortably on my legs. The backlighting even changes colors!! The only downsides (which are just really a nitpick or two) is that the keys are a bit squished when compared to a computer keyboard. Not something you couldn’t get used to, but definitely can cause some typing errors. The trackpad is also a little bit noisy, but not too bad. Overall, I would recommend, and I’ll likely be back to update with how it holds up.

I did a ton of research and was very close to purchasing a Logitech case but settled on this one instead. It was easy to set up and install and works great out of the box. The trackpad gestures are a great touch as well. The major deciding factor for me was the 2 piece design of the case. It’s great that your iPad is still in a case when detached from the keyboard. Another thing I want to be sure others know is you can use this case as a stand with the keyboard folded back. I watch TV on my iPad often and this was a must have feature that I was unable to confirm until the case arrived. The only thing I dislike is that there’s no good way to store the ESR pencil with their own case. When you use the iPad’s magnets to attach the pencil to the side of your device, it spins and sits crooked. It almost feels like the magnets in the pencil are the opposite polarity of whatever is in the iPad closest to the volume buttons because it pushes one end of the pencil away with force. You may be wondering why I’m mentioning this on the review of the case rather than the pencil, but that’s because it feels like the open side design of the case is contributing to the issue.Aside from the pencil frustration, it’s a great case. If you don’t use a pencil, you’ll be in good shape.

This case is good and sturdy which was a bonus. However, it is unfortunate that the iPad can’t be charge it in portrait position. Although, I had decided to keep it, this case would have received a 4 star because of after all it is a good and sturdy case but it wouldn’t power on. As I proceeded to turn it on the power button did not work, and it wouldn’t connect to my device so I thought perhaps it needed more charging so I charged it for most of the day and still nothing which was too bad because it looks like a strong case.P.S. Another con: it is supper heavy. I would re order this case even with these cons but I am afraid to receive another case that doesn’t turn on. I haven’t found something that I like more so the search is still on.
