No. The charging pad must be attached to the mount before you can attach your phone.
Yes. This magnetic charger is designed with a support arm for added stability to ensure a secure mount. The vent clip rotates 360°, allowing it to clip onto both horizontal and vertical grille-type vents. To ensure stability while driving, make sure to follow our installation steps by either watching our installation video or reading the included manual.
The charger’s powerful ring of HaloLock magnets attract the magnets built into your iPhone to create a secure connection that holds your phone in place.
To ensure your iPhone 13 or 12 stays securely attached, this charger should be used with a HaloLock magnetic case or an official iPhone 13/12 magnetic case. Other third-party cases may be compatible with the charger, but we can’t guarantee that they will provide a secure connection and safe mounting.
Yes. It supports 7.5W fast wireless charging for the iPhone 13/12 series. To achieve fast charging, we recommend using the included charging cable and an 18W QC car charging adapter. (Adapter not included)
This MagSafe wireless car charger has a detachable charging pad. When driving it attaches to the mount for easy navigation and can be detached to let a passenger use the phone without interrupting charging.

Setup was very easy and only took a minute. I was concerned at first that my car vents are vertical which didn’t occur to me … however, the base that clips on the vent rotates so that the new support will stay at bottom. The new support piece is crucial and keeps the entire charger from falling forward. The support can be place at any angle needed, mine is not perfectly vertical for example since the vent molding is curved.The double magnet adds a layer of thickness that I don’t care for so it sticks out further than I would like. But it works great! The larger magnet attaches to your charging cord on one side and your phone magsafe on the other – so that you can use the phone while continuing to charge. Then you pop it on the vent magnetic holder to keep it in display and use hands-free.Love, love this magsafe car charger especially the extra USB in the cigarette charger (which is not required, the charging cable is simply USB and can be detached to connect directly to a car USB port if preferred).Definitely recommend.

I glued the two parts together because my phone (13pro) was too heavy to hold them together. After 9 months the rubber on the clip that goes on the air vent tore but you can still get it to work it just takes a little effort. But it charges really fast.
