What is the difference between the ESR HaloLock Universal Ring and ESR HaloLock Universal Ring 360?
Both rings enable MagSafe compatibility for standard PC or TPU cases. However, the ESR HaloLock Universal Ring 360 features a magnetic tail design to keep magnetic accessories locked in one direction.
This ring can be used with any smooth PC or TPU case that does not have a non-slip coating and is no greater than 4 mm thick.
To ensure correct installation, please watch the instruction video prior to installation and use the included alignment guide. Once the ring is attached, it cannot be repositioned or reattached. If it is improperly attached, please remove and attach another ring.

Very easy to put on as it has guides for different types of phone. The only downside is that it comes with the 2 magnets, but only one set of wet/dry cleaning cloths to prep the surface. Since I’m not using both right now, I will have to find a different cloth for next time

I bought this product since the initial description (and the package also) called it as "Magnetic universal ring.." – expecting the 2 included rings to be magnetic. They are not. Essentially they are just slim (nice looking) rings of metal, which could attach to metal but have no magnetism themselves. The current description seems to have changed to only call out Magsafe compatibility (removing claims of magnetism), so I’m guessing others have complained about this also.As it is now, I have no use for non-magnetic metal rings – but I see how they could be useful to turning non-magsafe cases into magsafe-compatible ones, so only substracting 2 stars.PS. I should have returned this, but I didn’t realize the problem as the package sat in my drawer for several months until I found time to start the project I had initially gotten this for.

Good ring, not quite strong enough for my Pixel fold, but would be fine with a normal phone. Easy to stick to a case, with good adhesive propertys.

I didn’t buy it for charging specifically, but rather a pop socket I got from Casetify, not realizing I needed the MagSafe case with it… bought this stuck on it my current case and the pop socket attaches instantlySo I’m happy

Really easy to fitOpen box, follow instructions ,and done ✔️ it’s a stronger magnet hold than my phone case with one built inmy only concern is the metal ring is only stuck on to the case with a really thin double sided tape adhesive time will tell as to how long it lasts if it falls off I will re attache it with superglue the edges of the ring are sharp and can easily scratch a surface or fabric
