I am very pleased with this purchase. I did not want to spend $400+ on the Apple Magic Keyboard and saw a good review on YouTube for this particular brand of keyboard. The outer case is very sturdy and seems durable, I like the extra magnetic clasp that holds the case securely shut and will ensure the Apple Pencil will not get knocked off the iPad magnet. The back light is fantastic, it has a function to quickly turn it on or brighter and times out to conserve the battery, turns back on when typing. The track pad is a nice add on that I did not have on my last keyboard and it makes work so much easier. There are many easy to use function buttons. The keys are much easier to type on than my last keyboard case.3 negative points1 The hinge does not open back very far, although I am getting used to the screen position. It does tilt securely in place and sits in a good position for Zoom/FaceTime.2 Although the magnet to hold the iPad is very strong the bottom of the iPad sits about 2” below the back of the case when open. If you grab the bottom of the iPad instead of the case the iPad can be pulled off accidentally. You will get familiar with where to handle the case, however if someone else who is unaware picks up your iPad it may pull off if grabbed in the wrong spot.3 The bottom of the iPad sits close to the number keys. I have small hands and my fingers hit the iPad using the numbers. May be a big factor if you work with a lot of numbers.

This keyboard-case works really well. The touchpad is a nice addition too. It seems to be better value for money than the Apple equivalent. Time will tell.

This was simple to install and looks nice. The keypad is extremely sensitive.

I haven’t tried the Apple version but I can’t imagine it being any better than this one for a third of the price. As long as it lasts, 5 stars.

This keyboard works great! The keys are quiet, and the magnet is strong enough to hold my iPad up. I’d say the only downside to this keyboard is if you leave it sitting on a soft surface (a pillow for example) it tips backward because the keyboard isn’t weighted at all. But on a desk or a hard surface it stays standing. So far, very happy with it!
It’s great for keeping the iPad in desired position, and the keyboard is smooth to use. –

Wanted to really like the keyboard as it types okay. The sound is also acceptable for me and the key travel as well. The backlit keys are a plus and I would have been happy with just white color on the keys instead of having to toggle through different colors. I do like that I can adjust brightness. Medium mode would have sufficed if there was no adjustment option. What I’m not fond of is the inconvenience of charging two ports since it does not have pass through charging (meaning, I have to charge the ipad and keyboard separately). I can’t complain for the price I paid vs Apple’s magic keyboard though. When I rest my palms to type, the base of my thumbs hit the trackpad and it adjusts the screen of my ipad which is annoying. So I have to float while typing which I guess is a bad habit of mine not typing properly.<br />But the biggest design flaw I’m finding is the way it tilts the Ipad. It doesn’t tilt back enough and so the bottom of the Ipad covers the top row keys and you would have to squeeze your fingers through to get to those keys so this loses the functionality and slightly defeats the purpose of the keyboard. I’m not sure if it’s just my product or they are all design this way. In comparison to Apple’s magic keyboard, all keys are accessible which is great and the keys are highly responsive and easy to type. With this one, when I touch type, I’m finding that I have to press the keys harder to be more accurate. Lots of adjustment since the keys have to really touch the bottom for it to register the letter. Otherwise, a lot of deletions for you.<br />Can’t comment on how long the battery will last as I just started testing the product out. I don’t know if i want to keep it.
