For those that are finicky (I guess?) like me, the track pad on this is loud (clicking sound) which I don’t like since I’m used to mac track pads which are quiet. So since I don’t think I could get used to it, I will be returning. I do think the backlights in the different colors are fun, and the strap to wrap around is nice.

I bought my ESR keyboard $120 on August 31, 2024. My wife bought and Apple Magic Keyboard $250.Truly an honest review. Con’s 1st.CONS: I feel that if buying again I would not purchase the ESR case. The quality of the build is nothing like the Apple. The cantilever is very low quality. I noticed after the 1st month of use (past my return date) that it started getting sloppy. My case now has about an inch of play unlike my wife’s Magic Keyboard that cost double and has zero play in the cantilever after the same amount of use. I now have to buy a new case and spend another $120 on an ESR and take a chance I bought a defective one or spring for the Apple Case and know that it will hold up!PROS: I will say it works perfectly as described by the manufacturer. We have both had our keyboards for 4 months now. We both use our IPads daily for a couple hours for work and personal use. ESR is lighter and charges independently vs. the Apple so it does not drain your I pad power. Connects immediately and the keys respond immediately. The back lighting in is variable strength and color. So against the Apple it is comparable. No problems at all.

Easy to set up and use. Great backlit keyboard.

For work, I need to use my iPad Pro in portrait mode. This case allows that as well as easy removal from the case when I need to take pictures. The magnet is strong when the iPad is attached, and it stays solid in place when tapping the screen while in the keyboard case. I love this case.

A good quality product. Overall I am happy with it after being appalled by how much apple was charging for the name brand. The only issue is that the keyboard doesn’t always respond right away. But it’s a really nice keyboard that lights up for night use. Really far better than the old one. It’s a bit heavy but the name brand one may be as well.
Stunning editions! The new covers are absolutely beautiful! And the books are amazing! –
The keyboard works great. I like how the Bluetooth works to connect so quickly once turned on. The only thing I would say is to make sure the iPad is perfectly aligned so that it doesn’t fall. Other than that the magnet is really strong and the case protects the iPad very well. I really like the keys and how they light up so typing at night is much easier. Great quality for the price.

It very securely hold the ipad with magnets, at least in landscape. It’s not quite as good in portrait, but you shouldn’t be moving a lot if you’re using it that way. The keys feel ok. The blacklight works. The biggest drawback is that it picks up fingerprints *instantly*. Any kind of oil or grease shows up. Why did you guys pick that particular material?

Spend the extra money for an Apple Smart Keyboard. I got this trying to pinch pennies compared to spending more for the Apple Keyboard.Initial though, the ESR is “okay”.It’s VERY bulky, heavy, and the trackpad feels like it wont last long. I also noticed my ipad being connected to it via bluetooth would bug once in a while. I bought the Apple keyboard and tested both together, there is no comparison. I bought the ESR due to a review saying it’s better than the apple keyboard…. I 100% disagree with that and would like to say they’re not even in the same discussion. This keyboards functionality is there, durability I question. It looks decent but I am not a fan and would not recommend.

This is by far one of the best ipad keyboards I’ve owned.I had many others with the magick float design but they weren’t sturdy as this one. I love the pencil holder too.Keys are comfortable even after long hours of use.Track pad is very accurate and less jumping than other makes.
