When the trackpad is not responding, you have to disable AssistiveTouch. To disable, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Turn off “AssistiveTouch”.

It fits on your lap nicely. It is a bit on the heavy side though. The keyboard responds nicely and is well lit. The Apple Pencil magnetizes nicely on the top channel.

love this keyboard as an affordable alternative to the magic keyboard! I also like how I can take remove the ipad from the keyboard and still have a case on it for protection. I wish there was an option to control how long the keyboard stays on before disconnecting though

Recently got the new Ipad and was looking for a case and found this one. It is a great case! Feels great and keeps the Ipad super secure. I love that you can detach the keyboard from the case so you can use them separately but still keep the Ipad fully protected. I also like that the case rotates on the magnetic base. This is everything I wanted and at a super reasonable price. My ONLY complaint would be the weight of it. It is definitely heavier than carrying my Macbook Air and that took some getting used to. But to get around that I just use the case without the keyboard when I don’t need it so the weight isn’t an issue. Would definitely recommend this product!!
