This MagSafe car mount is only compatible with iPhones with MagSafe (12 series or later), ESR magnetic cases, official MagSafe cases, and standard cases with the ESR Universal Ring.
This MagSafe car mount is specifically designed for Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model X (2023), and Tesla Model S (2023). It includes an alignment guide to ensure perfect positioning on these car’s touchscreens, but can also be installed on other car’s dashboards.

I followed the installation instructions for this mount to a T in my Model 3 Tesla and got several months of usage out of this mount. It is a great mount and I like that I can quickly move it from a side mount to a top mount. The magnet works great with my Magsafe case and never had a problem removing or attaching it to the mount.One evening I noticed that my phone kept slowly rotating downward and was not staying in position. Eventually the whole mount fell off the back side of my Tesla screen and I realized the adhesive had come loose where the mount attaches to the screen. It was in the heat of summer so I’m not sure if that played a role in it or if my iPhone 14 Pro Max was too much weight for the adhesive. Either way, it wasn’t too convenient to lose my phone mount when I had a lot of driving left to do that evening.The kit does come with a 2nd adhesive. I just have not spent the time to remove the partial adhesive on the back of my screen and try to re-attach the mount using the replacement adhesive.I suspect the provided adhesive just isn’t sufficient for a larger phone like the Pro Max. It’s a shame as I did like the versatility of the mount but probably only got 2-3 good months of usage out of it before it failed me.

While I initially loved the ESR car mount upon arrival, I quickly realized it’s designed specifically for left-hand drive vehicles, making it less practical in Australia. Installation forces you to place it at the extreme end, which isn’t ideal for right-hand drive cars. Great product, but not suited for our roads.

Took a chance on this not working for my 2025 Honda Civic hatchback. However, it’s working so far; it’s been one week. The attachment point to the back of the screen is slightly flexible, which allows it to stick to the slight angle on the civic. I’m happy so far! there is a slight limitation, but it has pretty good range of motion. I would recommend! I’ll try to update as time goes on.

This would have to be by far the best car mount available. The others which I have tried, the footprint is a small circle shape and in Australian heat, it doesn’t stick well.For this mount its got a large square footprint so more contact point and the adjustment is easily done.The only downside is the pivot ball that holds the magnet. You can only tighten it so much but it still moves. Maybe cause plastic and metal don’t mould well. Maybe if the ball head was plastic also it might grip better.Either way I’m happy with it.

Bought this in August and the product was easy to install. Very happy with the magnet and the foldable arm feature but the 360 screw broke and now getting this off the screen will be a headache. Have been using lot of ESR products but this is the first time I faced a low quality part. Hope they pay attention and fix this for future.
