We have been using this on my wife’s grand caravan dash which is textured. Cleaned it well before installation. 6 months of trouble free use so far without having to remount it. The magnet is VERY strong so you have to slide the phone off instead off pulling it straight off. But my phone never moves a bit unlike some of the other mounts that I have. Great adjustability. Will probably get one for my other vehicles.

I’ve returned 2 mounts that didn’t work for me before finally landing on this one and I think this one might be it? So far it’s everything I wanted. The magnet is great, not too strong but strong enough to withstand the bumpiness of country gravel roads. One thing to note is the suction is very sticky so once you press it onto a surface and realize it’s not exactly where you want it, it’s a little hard to get back up and try again. I was able to do it and it’s still sticking fine though.

I mounted this in my bulldozer. It can get quite rough. The magnet holds the phone completely. I’ve ordered three. One for each car and one for bulldozer. One had a small defect and customer support immediately responded and sent a replacement part. Suction cup is strong. Articulation of arm is amazing.
