At first, I started to put the case in backwards, but pay attention so that the small light indicator on the front of the AirPods Pro 2nd gen charging case will be in the front and show through the small "window" of this ESR protection case and then the top/lid will properly open and close. With that correction on my part, this protection case is very nice and well-made. If you are going to drop as much as one does for genuine AirPods Pro’s, then this protection case is probably money well spent.

I got this case after I dropped my AirPods one too many times and it finally dented the original AirPods case. So I decided to get a protective case for my AirPods case. Soooo worth it! Didn’t cost a lot, super durable, and I’ve dropped my AirPods several times in the past where my AirPods go flying across the floor… that hasn’t happened with this case! I’ve dropped my AirPods still plenty of times but I can use the string on the case to attach to my belt loops or backpack straps, and that works great. It isn’t any harder to open the case with my hands when I’m working one handed, the color is holding up fantastic along with the case itself. I love this and I’d say I’ll buy this again.. but I doubt I’ll need to!
