For some reason, all these MagSafe rings have the same issue – they leave scratches on phone or phone cases, because the padding isn’t soft enough to have the thing rotated without causing hard to the surface.

This MagSafe ring holder by ESR has quickly become a must have for me. The holder is sturdy without being too stiff. It’s very versatile allowing you to find the near perfect positioning of your phone. It helps me also handle the phone, providing support when I hold the phone with one hand. I tried another brand as well but the ease of use for this ESR one quickly almost instantly made me drop the other one. The adhesion is great, don’t trust it to handle the phone only by the holder, anything can happen to knock of the holder and subsequently dropping the phone. It’s strong yes, just exercise caution. If you use a cover, it also has to be a MagSafe case otherwise the holder wonts work. I totally recommend this product 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Have only had this for 2 weeks and now the hinge is loose. 2nd product I got from ESR that has had problems. It does the job still, and it was only ~$10, so you get what you pay for I guess, though I feel like there are better options out there at the same price point. Disappointing, will avoid ESR products going forward.

If you use this only with your phone without a case, it comes off easily. I’ve dropped my phone multiple times. I ordered this brand’s MagSafe case and it’s waaaay stronger of a magnetic than my iPhone’s internal magnet. 3/5 stars for grip only, 5/5 for grip with case

Good for a stand whether it’s portrait or landscape. The magnet can be stronger because when you extend the ring the whole thing come off. I MagSafe cover helps the magnet strength but it additional expense. Take a while to get use to it.
