1. If you have 370z car, the hook is too short to reach back of the vent, not good!2. if you wanna glue it, which I really didnt want to do it, there are are two options: a) on top of the screen panel, which is annoying because it covers top three gauges. b) right below the middle right vent and rotate the mount 90 degrees towards to driver.

I like the metal hook, instead of cheap plastic that will crack & break from repetitive heating/cooling. Also, like the 2 feet that brace against the vent for support. The magnet is super strong, so no worries about your phone falling off. This kit includes a dash mount, but I didnt use it cause I dont like anything on the dash obstructing my view, so the vent mount is a better option for me. The kit also includes a metal sticker ring that I stuck to the back of my Garmin Nuvi & that works really well for viewing driving directions around town. So far this thing works good with no issues during installation.

I have been looking for a good and sturdy car phone holder for my vertical car vent. I tried many many others on ESR and nothing seemed work. That is until I came across this and it worked like a charm. It works best if you install the magnet ring that comes with the mount.
