I’m so pleased with the strength this this magnet. I have a Galaxy Z Fold 6, and I have been struggling to find a magnet that will hold this phone firmly. The magsafe cases for the Z Fold are really awkward to mount due to the placement of the S Pen holder, which is right down the middle of the back of it, like a book binder, so the magnetic feature is only on one half of the phone. The resulting uneven weight distribution makes the phone fall off of ever other magsafe mount I’ve used. The phone is the size of a small tablet, so only tablet mounts are large enough to fit it on a spring grip type mount, and I can’t use those because the pen holder sticks out so much on the back. I went through 5 different magsafe mounts that couldn’t hold the phone prior to buying this mount, and I’m so happy I bought it. My phone feels so sturdy in it, and I’ve tested the magnet’s strength by shaking the mount really hard, and it held very firmly in place. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

The magnet on this phone mount is amazing. It is very strong. I’ve used it for 10 months now, and my phone has NEVER fallen off of the mount — for context, I use a QuadLock mag case on an iPhone 14 pro max, which is a hefty phone. Even when my partner uses the mount with a regular non-magsafe case (iPhone 12), it does a decent job, although large bumps have caused her phone to fall.The part that clips to the vent is very sturdy and fits well in my 2016 Honda Civic. In my other car, however, it worked as a mount but damaged one of the vent slats. This is hardly the fault of the mount, since it needs to be on tight and the vents on my other car are not as sturdy as most cars.The price is very fair for what this is. It is still going strong after almost a uear of use with no noticeable signs of wearing out. As far as compatibility, here are the three vehicles I have tried it in:2016 Honda Civic – Works great on the vents above the center console, although depending on the size of your phone it may block the "audio power" button2018 Acura ILX – Only fits on the passenger side, far from the driver. I don’t recommend it for this car.1996 Suzuki Carry – Fits on the vents and works in a pinch, but part of the vent was damaged because I held the weight of the phone on such a small piece of plastic.

There’s only one position where the hook is long enough to latch onto the air vent if you’re using the inside driver’s side vent on a RAV4 – but once it’s dialed in it is never coming out and the magnets are almost too strong.Will this hold your chonker of a phone securely despite every pothole your tax dollars have not filled in? Yup.

I absolutely love this! It sits peacefully on my vent with a tight, not wiggly connection to the vent and the magnet is so strong and will hold any phone no matter how big or heavy!!! I bought 2 one for each car!!!

I was very impressed with mine. It’s for both IPhone and Android which is what I have. I also got the magsafe case and popsocket. The magnetic on the case does hold but my popsocket comes off easily. I put it on my mom’s iPhone and it didn’t want to let go. As far as the mount, I take my popsocket off, and it holds it very well and not to hard to pull off. The official iPhone magnet may be to strong for the mount, but you’d have to try it.

It is a great fit for my car’s air vent and is easy to install. The magnet is super strong which sometimes is tough to even slide off my phone. Much improved over an earlier clip on model.
