The case is sturdy enough. This I like .There should be a carrier for the pen. Its only the flap that closes the tabletI have dropped my pen a few times. I really like the case BUT if you lose your pen.

This laptop holder works great! I often have a lot on my desk and have one very large monitor. This allows me to adjust my laptop up to the same height as my monitor to easily view both at the same time. Also allows me to talk stuff underneath, adding extra room.

Works good. Good magnet. keyboard so far so good. Product says comes with 2 yrs warranty -so thats a good thing. With previous experience from ESR on replacement/refund – I trust ESR with their commitment.

Is so good, everything I was looking for but a bit heavy

Little heavy with keyboard attached but to be expected.

When I received the product there was a QR code to see a setup video. It was a dead link. Went to ESR websites and couldn’t find the video. Emailed tech support and finally got a proper link. Happy with the keyboard for the price, but it is heavy

Awwwww come on ESR… this case could be so good…But it is being packed up and going back to you.I really LOVE my ESR Shift case, that when I was ready for a keyboard case, I naturally came to search for either this or the Rebound 360.The good:Solid built keyboard shell. Keyboard types nicely, and trackpad feels good as well. Fast connection, just a matter of few seconds. Prefer the way it stands vs Rebound, and the hinge actually holds a 12.9 inch iPad Pro very well. Now the bad:What’s up with the flimsy inner plastic shel? Well, ok , I thought, I just use my much higher quality inner shell from the Shift case then. But the magnets dont line up. Really ESR? I see you made the update for the new iPad Air 2024 and iPad Pro M4, how about give us some last gen folks some love too?

Works so well. Been using this for about a year with my iPad as my daily computer (Don’t judge me).Pros:-Battery life is amazing. Maybe charge once a month (again daily user).-Super durable. I use it in my workshop all the time and just blow the sawdust off with the compressor and never had one problem.-Keyboard 10/10. Key press feels so good. Backlit keys are perfect for night time.-Adjustability/flexibility. Not really found a scenario where the back couldn’t flex to fit my optimal angle for any given situation.Cons: The only complaint is the lag time to connect sometimes takes several seconds. Not a deal breaker but annoying enough to give 4 stars instead of 5.Would order again.

Turn iPad into a laptop
Robert Rosenbaum –
There are several threads to this, wasn’t sure where to post, wanted to share my solution for a keyboard and case for my M4 IPP 13"I wanted something thathad a case to protect my IPP but was lightweight enough it wouldn’t bother me if I was just reading, playing – and that the case could come off easily so I could also use the IPP naked when I wanted tohad a keyboard and trackpad for when I was traveling. I wasn’t interested in turning my iPad into a laptop – there are apps that only run (well) on Mac OS, so I have a MBPallowed me to use iPad in both vertical and horizontal orientationsI already had an Apple Smart Folio I’d purchased when I first got IPP. It works pretty well but doesn’t have a keyboard, doesn’t allow for vertical orientation, and it doesn’t protect edges of IP for travel.I tried several options:Apple MKB – great materials, but too $$$$, doesn’t allow for vertical orientation, no protection when remove IPLogitech MKB – has a case when you remove KB, kind of heavy, still $$$, no vertical orientationESR Rebound – has a case when off the KB, does vertical/horizontal, pretty good protection – but I didn’t like the viewing angle, and heavier than I wantedConsidered a skin, screen protector, and separate KB and stand to go with Folio case, but every screen protector degrades the beautiful OLED display, and one of my primary uses for IP is to display photos. Also, awkward to carry separate components.WHAT WORKS FOR ME: ESR ASCENT KB + APPLE MAGIC FOLIOI found I can keep IP in its folio case and, when sitting at a table, prop it up up in vertical or horizontal against the Ascent KB kickstandI can close the Ascent KB around the IP while it’s still in its Folio case, and I’m set to travel (Note: the Ascent comes with a magnetic case, but it doesn’t have a screen cover. If that doesn’t bother you, you could skip the Folio case, but I find the Folio doesn’t weigh much more (if at all) than the Ascent case, offers, more protection, and comes off more easilyThe Ascent KB has good action & trackpad. I’d prefer if it used Smart Connector rather than a battery, but that’s no big deal for meNote the ESR Ascent, with its kickstand, doesn’t work great on a lap. It’s useable – more than the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio (no longer available for IPP M4), but not a laptop replacement.HOPE THIS HELPS ANY OF YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR FOR YOU IPP
